30 Day Video Game Challenge: Day 7

Day 7 – A Game That Needs To Be Rebooted/Remastered

Harvest_Moon_Coverart.pngHarvest Moon released on the SNES in 1996. I’m not positive of exactly when I played it, but it must have been a few years after at my cousins’ house. Harvest Moon is one of those games I immediately connected with; it captured my heart and challenged what I thought video games could be. Having to step away from building up my farm and attempting to romance one of the townspeople when my mom said “It’s time to go home” was the biggest tease and disappointment at the time for my little self.

An actual remaster or genuine reboot of the game would be amazing. While Stardew Valley has been the closest game to capture the original feels I had as a child, it will never be Harvest Moon.
